Shotgun-Wielding Man Comes To Neighbor's Rescue

I believe place of business is, if you own it, though I'm not sure, it's been years since I've lived in MA and had to deal with their laws.

    Objective Individual Combat Weapon

As far as I know, that system is dead. The Landwarrior system has moved beyond that design and has elected to retain the M-4 if I'm not mistaken. I know the XM-8 was tested in Iraq in this past war, which derived from the OICW.

joboy, you still have yet to reply to my question of how much firearms experience do you have.

Number of aircraft in USN and USMC?

I agree... and everyone else calls it the F-18 regardless. The F-4 was essentially multi-role (though not designed that way)... we didn't rename it F/A-4. Hell, the F-14 became multi-role.

Can a P-3 operate in the 30s? Honest question.

Also wearing two kneeboards :) A lot of the cards I have for backup, as most of them are WSO responsibility, but there are still a few I use all the time, such as 9-line cards, charts, admin, etc.

CAS = kneeboard hell. I have to use my approach strap on my other leg to keep everything organized, as well as putting charts under my thighs on the seat.

Shotgun-Wielding Man Comes To Neighbor's Rescue

Oddly enough, Massachusetts did NOT have a duty to retreat from your home. In fact, MA essentially subscribes to the "Castle Doctrine" when it comes to your home. Odd for a state that is so restrictive on firearms.

    First gun, CCW

What is your experience level with firearms? The first two are cartridges, the second is a pistol, a military designation to be exact. You heard wrong. Very wrong. Go to http://www.nra-ila.org and lookup CA state gun laws. You have a lot to learn. CA is one of the most restrictive...

Shotgun-Wielding Man Comes To Neighbor's Rescue

A few states have a duty to retreat, even from your own house. You must retreat to the best of your ability until you no longer can without serious threat to your body or life. It's ridiculous the times we live in.

    Rudy Guiliani

Look at the "progress" they've made in states such as Massachusetts, New York, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Maryland, and places such as DC, San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, and so on. Believe it, the gun-control lobby has been targeting semi-automatic firearms for a long time...

    Death By PowerPoint

It pains me greatly when someone is giving a brief with eye charts full of text. I don't want to read 1000 words of text in a brief, that defeats the point. Lots of imagery makes me happy.

    Ak-74

AK-74 clones in 5.45x39mm are increasingly popular. The ammo is harder to find than 7.62x39mm, so take that into consideration.

Why would there be. The reason for a multi-engine rating in fixed wing is asymetric thrust, etc etc etc. Something helos will not experience (loss of tail rotor is not the same thing, that's covered by your training).

I have no idea how much of that I can talk to (not like I know much). I just know there were some very interesting lessons learned there. Edit: Meaning on a public forum

The funny thing is the aetheists can be just as vocal, bull-headed, and ignorant as the bible-thumpers. It makes for great entertainment.

Pembroke is the same way. They will not issue you a CCW license unless your life has already been threatened and you are under threat of imminent harm. Oh by the way, it takes 30 days to get said license. Morons. I hate sheep.

Shotgun-Wielding Man Comes To Neighbor's Rescue

I had an unrestricted CCW license in MA :D And I wouldn't hold your breath. Firearms issues are not in the forefront the US mind (actually a good thing for us), and with a Democrat Congress... it'll be dead before it gets to the floor.

    Poor Man's Machine gun?

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but any provisions for LEOs in weapons laws doesn't mean Average Joe LEO can get those weapons. They would be for official business only, not personal ownership. In other words, purchasing for the department.

Yes, if you are NOT a resident of California and you receive PCS orders to California, you can apply for a Military Assault Weapons Permit. It is not published on the CADOJ website, you must call their Assault Weapons division to get the application. If you choose to reside in CA after your...
