Surprising that Eglin is considered to be "fast" now; it was kinda slow when I was going through, and ironically Mobile, with only two planes, was the fast one. It took me ~70 days to get finished with IFS at Eglin, so count your blessings now.

In that case, I'd actually say go talk to a podiatrist. It's amazing the difference it makes having your orthotics fitted and made correctly, and with an assymmetric issue like yours, it'd probably be more of an issue than mine was. Some shoe stores are pretty good, others aren't; podiatrists...

There was a thread on this a little while ago. Run a search first. I've worn custom orthotics since I was in eighth grade. If I hadn't, I probably would've gotten a lot more injuries than I did, not to mention your average aches and pains, so having them is much better than the alternative...
