Verizon went straight across my backyard to get to my neighbor's house...with a cable about 3" deep. Huge gash in our lawn.
My neighbor was shocked they went that route instead of along the easement by the street.
I made them pull it all up and fix our lawn.
Same response from corp...
Shooting tactically with a flashlight, how do you hold the light?
What do you use for a light? I have Surefire L2 and 6P lights.
I'm going to be shooting in an IDPA state match with an indoor night time scenario, which I don't shoot too often.
Anyone have any basic tips?

Speaking of anthro.....
When I flew in VF-114 we had the VF communities' tallest and shortest pilots.
"Stork" was 6' 6" or so and "Chilly" was about 5' 2". I flew with both. My regular pilot was Woody, he was 6' 5" and looked like a linebacker. Maybe waivers were earier to get for the F-14A...
We had them extraordinare in VF-114. In fact we had our own VF114INST 6969.4BJ that detailed the movie officer, the real officer and the duty officer duties. Tits in the first reel, no credits and a high mort count with monkeys and midgets always got rave reviews.
We used to run Monty Python...
Equations...hmmmmm....F=MA and "You can't push with a string."

"My daddy served in the army, where he lost his right eye, he flew a flag out in our yard until the day that he died..."
Try not to sound too much like a well known song in your first paragraph.
Isn't Ruger pushing some new pocket pistol these days? Maybe in .380?
This guy has some great prices...have not used him though as he won't FFL ship to MD...not that I blame him.

Best advice is to have fun, don't get stupid and drink in public or piss on a wall..that will get you busted...
Just goofing around and being a bit drunk in public..no problemo.
You got to sell this right...do you really think someone is going to schedule a XC with atactical jet as a result of this post.
I can just imagine the conversation witheir OPS or CO.
"Can I go on a XC to Pittsburg, some guy on the internet said I'd get free beer and parties each night."...
Your detailer and/or community manager maintain "the list." It has every single bubba in your community, by name, duty station, lineal number, YG, next duty station pref, etc.
Good way to stay in touch with where your buds are.
My father-in-law was a Citadel guy...chemistry major if IIRC.
Yes, Charleston is nice, but when you leave the Citadel's main gate, don't turn the wrong way or you're in Da Hood.
If not registered, people sometimes find out years later when looking to get a gov't secured loan (i.e., student loan, gov't aid/grant) and are denied becasue of that.
Here are some comparison pics I took today. Of course, any decent gun shop will have them on hand to pick up and look at. :D
Glock 34 with lightened slide and solid barrel:
Stock Glock 19:
A compensated G23C where you can see the much smaller slide cut outs and small slots in the barrel...
I'm a member of AAFGA. You don't have to be a member to shoot IDPA there though. We have one guy who drives in from Fairfax, VA who shoots with us. Also a couple who leave their guns in VA and pick them up to shoot with us...they live in DC. She's a COL, he's retired USMC.
We charge $10 for...
IDPA is fun, some good training, some gamesmanship, some shooting.
I enjoy it as we have a real active gang of shooters. I'm a Safety Officer which is fun to be the guy up next to the shooter all the time.
Cheers,
Schnugg
The Glock 34/35 come with a cut out behnd the front sight to lighten the gun a bit.
I have a G34 I sue for IDPA and like the grip angle. I shoot it pretty well. Same cut out, not compensated.
I also have a G23C that has compensation...different cut outs completely.
The G34...
Hey, it grows back...what's the big deal?
Does it really "define who you are"??? if so, you need to rethink if the navy is for you.
Getting a haircut sure as hell ain't a sacrifice.
You think this guy was worried about his hair?
Obvioucly, there's more to this than meets the eye...
So were you out there near the highway overpass in your Sunday best right after church on Sunday morning...or perhaps it was Saturday night at 0200 in "yo baddest gangsta get up"???
