I've use paper towels to filter coffee in the RR before...it works.

Ready room coffee is great. Let it sit overnight in the pot and in the morning you fill your squadron mug, flip it upside down onto a plate, carefully remove the mug and cut your coffee into gelatin wedges. Enjoy. Mmmm, mmmm, good coffee.

Looks like the hydraulics finally failed and wheels dropped down. Nothing to hold them up in their stowed position. In the F-14 Tomcat the wheel fell against the wheel doors in a combined hydraulic failure.

I saw a Sea Harrier pilot from the UK do this at an airshow in P'Cola around 1986. He was doing some Vertical take off and landing stuff, demoing how it works up down, etc in front of an airshow crowd....came down on the fuselage. They trucked the jet away. He'd been out the night before...

I saw that one night behind the CVN on approach on a very dark moonless night on WestPac...you literally could follow the glowing line all the way to the boat...of course the plane guard left a trail, too..just abit smaller. Cool stuff.
