Like they said, a lot of officers were not priors. By the time you get there, they'll get you ready. If you wanted to enlist only to get acclimated...you won't need to. Just enjoy the rest of college, OCS will be waiting when you graduate. I think you'll be fine.

All of it. I read this: http://www.faa.gov/library/manuals/aviation/pilot_handbook/ online. You don't have to remember everything in it by a long shot, but it's got all the info and it's worth skimming for basic concepts. Like they said, the test covers stuff a mile wide and an inch deep, so...

I'd say as long as it takes you to personally get a good mastery of the material. I found the ARCO book to be a big help, the marine gouge was probably a bigger help, and for the knowledge part I looked up the FAA pilot's handbook and some online nautical terms glossaries, and that worked...so...

I think it helps to workout with a friend, if you can. Otherwise just do a lot and hope you get so many that by the time you have your feet held, you drop down to still a lot. I did a pyramid thing recommended by the BUDS book today and it kicked my ass, do a pyramid of up to 30 and back down...
