Regarding the face-to-face, will there always be one for everyone (at least before OCS and anything important is given to us)? I've had no contact with an investigator and am trying to gauge how far along in the process I am.

Regarding the security clearance - how long is it taking now that they've cleared up the problems if you have a clean history? It's the only thing holding my FS away. And will I have to meet with an interviewer soon or is that sometime after OCS?

The FE exam only requires ~70% to pass. Granted that covers more than just your discipline of study, but they seem to think its a good number.

That said, from my personal experience, it's MUCH easier to have the paperwork for your condition saying you're OK when you're at meps than trying to get it mated with your paperwork and approved later on down the line. Maybe you're OR is dragging his feet for this reason.
