I think I remember a guy who flew them tell me that (at least at one point) the cones were manually adjusted by the pilot with a couple levers in the cockpit, and that once at altitude you spent a lot of your concentration on getting those settings exact, only to have to readjust them constantly...

For the last few companies Aviators who couldn't get CWS-1 didn't pick up, they stayed in Mike Co until they could get it. That may have changed but you still have to have CWS-1 to graduate the BOC as a 75xx (AAVs have the same requirement).

No, the Navy and Air Force both guarantee a slot at flight school as well. You can go to OCS as a an SNA in the Navy, and as a Pilot slot in the AF...

I went to a little school called Christopher Newport University and earned myself a degree in Theater. My gpa was like a 2.9. I'm a Marine 2ndLt sitting in the pool waiting to class up API. Just get your degree and let the cards fall. Just make sure you are well rounded.
