Any way to get the "New Posts" function to only show new posts?

When I click "New Posts", it only shows the new posts (or posts that that are still unread) since my last visit. I usually read the posts that interest me, and then "Mark All Forums Read", and "New Posts" then shows only new posts on my next visit. Hope this helps.

Yeah, that's a technique. It used to do it automatically.

And the problem is .... ??? :)

*sigh* ... everyone posting like A4s ... what a beautiful world THAT would be ... *sigh* ...

I NEVER said that was a bad thing...

Oh... and I'm using Safari as my browser... and things are back to "normal" (whatever that is...) today.

I hope someone can help me. I've been trying to upload and Avatar since I joined back in May but every time I try to load an avatar I get the same message

The following error occurred:
A server error occurred. Please try again later.

I've tried different avatars and stay within the restrictions. I've also tried different browsers thinking that was the problem but it wasn't. I've also tried cutting and pasting from Photobucket but I guess that is not an option.

Been out of pocket for a while in a high op-tempo sqdn. Was there an attempt to get AW re-approved on NMCI? We (USMC) are transitioning soon to the old MCEN (Marine Corps Enterprise Network) and it might be allowed on that but until then...any word?

I have no issues accessing the website on NMCI.

That's because you're on NI, on MCI no joy. Damn Marine Corps...

The Marine Corps separately blocks AirWarriors? What is the boilerplate justification they give? Remind them of DTM 09-026:

Policy. It is DoD policy that:

The NIPRNET shall be configured to provide access to Internet-based capabilities across all DoD Components.

Definitions. Unless otherwise stated, these terms and their definitions are for the purpose of this DTM.

Internet-based capabilities. All publicly accessible information capabilities and applications available across the Internet in locations not owned, operated, or controlled by the Department of Defense or the Federal Government. Internet- based capabilities include collaborative tools such as SNS, social media, user-generated content, social software, e-mail, instant messaging, and discussion forums.

I've said it before, but I never heard anyone here making the attempt... Why not submit a request to MCI to get the site back? It fits perfectly with the other, I'd argue less useful, sites like Stalkbook.

Obviously, you got your Avatar working. How did you accomplish that feat?

Thanks!

I finally figured out that the pixels have to be 200x200 or more but the image can't be above 50KB. The images I was trying to load were below 50KB but they weren't at least 200x200 pixels. Lesson learned.
