Just got my FINSEL!

Officially accepted into the Navy on 12/7/2016, the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. I'm loving the symbolism. (Though hopefully it's not irony...)

Freaking A... See everyone in Newport in a few weeks!!!
 
Wow. Just got the call today from my recruiter. I'll be seeing you all there. Crazy how it's only like 3 week notice!

I'm happy to be leaving so soon, but kind of sad because I'm losing $8k in a commission check since I'm not staying through December.

I'm driving up through Georgia. Can't wait to meet you all.
 
hey anyone from VA who is driving to Newport RI? PM me so I can start my transfer package and say I will be driving. we will split the expenses.
