April 2014 SNA and NFO Board

I am in the Evansville, IN area, but I work with the Indy office. Do you guys know if all of us head to TN for the board once it convenes?

The applications should already be in TN when the board meets. Your processor sends your app to your NRD, who sends it to NRC, who sends it PM for Aviation, who reviews and sends to board. Are you asking if we physically travel to TN for board? If so, the answer is no. The board only reviews our applications on paper.

Just got word that my packet is ordpro so its approved for the board. Apparently some other packets out of my area were cut down already, so that's good for me.

I also was told that their being told to hold off on active programs, not sure what that means.

You won't officially know if theres a board until results starts coming out. Some member's OR will say there's a board, others will say they still haven't heard a thing, and then everyone will start stabbing each other's information leading to new AW members unsure of whos right or wrong still leading to doubt in the air.

And the rumors on the AW bus will go round and round, round and round, round and round...

Well I'm fingers crossed hoping that my kit makes it, although I'm not so confident it will. If it does it will have made it by days. But like @NationalOPO said (a few pages back), 90 days after 27Feb14 would be the soonest it could meet. I'm really hoping that is true for me. But if mine doesn't best of luck to everyone!

Same here. I don't work on weekends so I'm good. Maybe we can all meet once the board results are posted and celebrate in Louisville.
It is a 3.5 hours drive to the Ville for me. But I'm for sure down. A celebration will likely be in order if we all get Pro-Y

Is it 90 days is the soonest they will meet or they meet at least every 90 days? I was just told by someone high up that it is the latter. So they said any day now.

OPO did not say they "can't" meet earlier than 90, just it is unlikely that they meet MUCH earlier than 90. I believe our official NLT date for this board is May 25, but as we know, it's going to be earlier than that

They have it every 90 days so it could be sooner but no later.

While we're all (not so) patiently waiting to hear definitive news...

Anybody been working on their fitness swimming?

I consider myself a pretty strong ocean swimmer/surfer... But I'm pretty confident I look like a house cat in a bathtub swimming laps. Kinda tough yo!

My sphincter is clinched with anticipation!

BTW that f-35/f-18 video is hilarious!

To the guy above me, knocked that one out of the water when I applied for PLC, 300 on the Marine PFT.
