Be prepared to see many of your shipmates go to Mast, if your a Reserve unit. Refuse XOI ask for Court Martial and you will win if you are in the right, and I say only if you are in the right. Do not let some ignorant Master at Arms Chief scare you. They are dirty and will break the law. If charged and they sit you down at table with a pad and pen write in BIG Letters I WANT A JAG then shut up. If you have the money contact Phil Cave, Lawyer who practices in Iraq Kuwait Afghanistan he is in Navy Times and you can google him, if you go to MAST or COURT MARTIAL. If your stuck in Kuwait, well your be building sidewalks to no where. Also building Roofs over dumpsters. Kuwait is a waste of your life for a year counting the 3 months your do at Cali or Miss. Be prepared for poor cement and after doing a days work come back next day and rip up the site. 18 hour days. 61 days straight no day off 18 hour days one time. Try not to be stuck in Kuwait. You wont get a campaign medal. Do not rely on your Chain of Command, Bees eat their own. Reserve Chiefs attached with their troops to a Active Duty Battalion will not stand up for their men. Keep straight, eat crap and say its good do your 9 months and go home. Enjoy the artwork in the Heads. When your CO calls and starts cursing at you cause your Batt is spread out in 3 camps hold the phone out so everyone can hear how a commissioned officer talks to his men. Remember your be home soon and a civy same as the midgit CO. The Bees are being cut big time, loosing a Battalion and lot of rates being cut. Switch to Army they take care of their men. Im finishing 15 years service and the Bees was the most horrible experience ever. REMFS and the cut throat E-6 that had the cush job driving golf carts will say how great it was. They never swung a pick in Middle East sand. If your an E-5 look to your guys and stand for them if they are in the right dont worry about your RESERVE NAVY career look to your men. You will have to answer to a higher being years down the road. And maybe one day your run into the garbage that made your life miserable. God Bless America

How many members went to Mast during the 2010 Tour??? I know about the bus incident, and the E-6's busted down and the drunk pulled out of the Ladies head at PH, or the E-6 who flew back to NY ftom Cali breaking the 200 mile rule. They all deserved mast. But the men busted in the desert, no way. The 2006-2007 Tour was well over 10. Chain of Command was all about Mast. They all bowed down to the active Duty Battalion. Only Chief that looked to his men was Chief Dewire, who is now Senior Chief a well deserved promotion. I won my case by choosing Court Martial over Mast and I kept my rank. So I gave the poster MY OPINION as was asked. Now you Typical DFAC hounds want to attack me for stating MY OPINION. I hope the Navy cuts coming up bust your bubble. What are you trying to accomplish here by posting this? Do you want to hear "Every officer is a piece of shit and the Chiefs Mess is worthless" or something negative about Kubic? What is your goal...and ulterior motive? I know what the story was at the A-Co yard, as many of them that were involved are still in NMCB-14 and I've talked to them about it. I've also talked to those that were on the TMT (now CSE) back on 04 as we lost 2 to an IED.

How bout this....drop by the the Readiness Support Site of NMCB-14 on NAS Jax if you are so 'interested' in this and pay your respects with the rest of the Battalion on 30APR in CUU's. Don't forget the other two we lost on convoys. You want to find an Officer or Chief to blame for this? You really should make a trip up to 1NCD and enlighten everyone on your wonderful knowledges (to quote AWs).
