The return of barefoot running....now with Five Fingers!

Last week I went out with the intent of trying on a pair of Vibram's Five Fingers. I liked them right away and ended up with a pair of KSOs. I've been using them with all my workouts and I've been enjoying them. The farthest I've run in them yet is 3mi and so far no major issues, but it's been interesting to find out what "tired toes" feel like.

I have had the same ones for almost a year. I don't run in them (hell, I don't even run anymore ) but I wear them for lifting and plyos. The wife just picked up a pair a few weeks ago. We luv 'em.

You get cool points for putting something so weird looking on and wearing 'em out and about. I've heard folks rave about them...I may try on a pair.

Thanks. I'd read about them on the interwebs first and then I saw a guy with em on at my local gym. If it hadn't been for the internet article that had piqued my interest, I would laughed out loud at him.

In the week I've had them, they've garnered a lot of curiosity from folks.

I got a pair a few months ago, and have been wearing them during regular runs. They work real well up to about 8 miles then the toe/foot fatigue kicks in. It is a wild feeling though.

I love my KSO's. I got the "originals" without the strap for riding my bike and found I really like them for trail running, too.

I will admit that they are ass ugly and I'd never wear them anywhere I wasn't actively working out.

I got a pair about a year ago after a guy I work with showed me his during a crossfit session, and I love them. The first week running in them was rough on the calf muscles while i adjusted to them though.

I picked up a pair of the KSO's to crossfit in about 2 months ago. I love them and can honestly say I think they have helped get rid of my shin splints.
