May boards

apparently 22/135 were selected for Intel. Rough stats, but lots better than the past couple months. I had heard that there were trying to fill all the FY10 slots with the May/june/july boards,instead of just picking up 3 ppl per month, i dont know if this is 100% accurate, but im happy enough anyways. congrats again to everybody selected this month.

SUPPLY results

I just received information that I was PRO-NO for BDCP Supply. Apparently the results just got published.

My IW and SWO packet was apparently held up at NRC because of something or they met their quota. Here is a rundown of my stats:

ASTB: 5/5/5 58
GPA: 4.0 Senior at Arizona State University, Psychology major, family studies minor

LORs: Colonel, 2nd lieutenant (both interviews); 3 previous employers, and 2 college professors.

I have already done MEPS and got the go ahead from them. I must say that I'm pretty bummed, but apparently BDCP is harder to get into? Grats to all you guys that got in; I'm hoping by the end of next month I will get some good news.
 
this was an odd month, everyone seems to have slightly higher stats. Glad I was pushed off the month thinking about it. So do any of you know if you will apart of June Boards for Final Select? I take my PFA on Monday but I have absolutly no clue where my clearance is at.

From what I know, if you haven't done your PRT, MEPS, and the Security Clearance - that is all you need to do to get the final select.

I'm just waiting around for my stuff to get processed at MEPS so I can get an appointment set up. My OR won't do my PRT or get the Security Clearance stuff underway until I have gone to MEPS - which is a bit frustrating.

they open up your medical file for the first time and have a look see @ your security once your up for final select. so as long as your medically qualified and you dont have any terrorists in your family tree you should get a final select. thats how i understand it...

i have no idea what the timeline is though or who meets and discusses you. i got my security, meps, and prt done before i submitted my app for pro rec. so i'm just waiting on the medical board to review my medical history (which i think they get from your insurance companies?) and my recruiter said that should take 2-3 weeks and I'll know if i have a final select or not by mid june... cmon babyyyyyyyyyyyyy
 
I'm curious as to why they don't check all that earlier in the process? Obv nobody with any serious red flags is going to make it through but still . . . ?
