A Wolfenstein Movie?? Brilliant... One of the best video games ever made (both the old and new).

+1

And for all the QT haters... I agree... He seems like a weasel, but you've got to give him his due credit. If Pulp Fiction didn't cut it, how about Reservoir Dogs?

Goddamnit.....I've got the royalties coming to ME on the Wolfenstein movie....now that I think about it...it's a fucking amazing movie concept.
(truth be told....I'll bet it could be a blockbuster)

It's kind of like "Cleaver"...you know??...Saw meets Godfather.
Maybe I could get Sir Ben Kingsley to play the Don!

When I watched Windtalkers for the first time, I thought Nicholas Cage was dreaming. The "combat" was similar to the games I played as a child in the back yard. It was about as realistic as a 7 year old with an imagination.

I'll wait to judge until I've seen a real trailer for this movie.

Its a re-make of Quel maledetto treno blindato (literally translated as That damned armored train and released as Inglorious Bastards in the USA) is a 1978 Italian war movie

That sounds a lot like the concept behind The Dirty Dozen.

Nicholas Cage is the worst actor of our time. I prefer Vin Diesel to him, even. At least his movies don't take themselves seriously.

Windtalkers was an incredible croc of shit. I had seen it before, and so once we watched it in high school (in American Government as a perspective aid, go figure), I couldn't help but crack up through most of the movie. My teacher thought it was pretty rude and didn't understand my explanation because it was "so real" to her (she was a ditz 23 y-o).

In short, I hate hate hate Nick Cage and the only reason National Treasure 2 was made was so I can stare at Diane Kruger some more.

Dude, I did the exact same thing. I actually mentioned that it was "obviously" a dream sequence out loud, which was a shame since it wasn't...

QT should just go ahead and make of movie of Castle Wolfenstein videogame, in which an OSS agent goes on a killing spree against SS zombies, monsters, et.al.

They've been working on a Wolfenstein movie on and off for a few years now. Roger Avery (who co-wrote many of QT's films, interestingly enough) has been writing it, but he's dealing with a vehicular manslaughter charge so who knows what the deal is now.

Negatory. Apparently QT just re-used the title because he liked it, then decided to change the spelling so people wouldn't think it's a remake.
