I was referring to being able to buy something back home either from a dealer or such as gunbroker.com (which ships to an FFL anyway). I would prefer to be able to buy something via visa and have my dad pick it up and take it home and put in the safe. The email I had got from one dealer stated that the ATF required a transfer direct, which im like ok sure fine. What about those of us who are in a combat zone at the pleasure of the goverment shouldnt they make some sort of exception? Such as requiring orders and ID an a power of attorney designating the person picking it up as my represenative?
I can understand the law that someone buying a gun online would be required to pick it up in person, too many variables for other people to pick it up for you.
