bottom line, better you ask a higher-up than one of us. And props if you got the hook ups. And all things considered, the reason we are all on this board is to hear any news others may be able to find out. So if you know someone who knows something, please keep sharing.

I just about had a heart attack when I looked at NPC and there had been four NAVADMINs added since this morning. When you first logon, all you see is the three newest NAVADMINs and I was hoping that the fourth one there was going to be results. This whole waiting rollercoaster is really getting old...

The NAVADMINS did an update...a few new posts for the first time since the 6th. I was so excited, but NOPE. Not what we are looking for. My husband is on deployment and doesn't have much free time so I'm checking for him constantly. I haven't had a decent night's sleep since October 1st! I hope everyone hears good news soon.

So my chief called and said, "hey results are out!" My heart dropped, then he said, "You didn't make CWO this year... sorry." I then explained that I applied for STA-21 and not the Flying CWO..

i had a similar thing happen last year. my chief was so out of the loop for what i was applying for that when i told him i didnt make it last year, he asked whom from our squadron did. i was, and still am, the only applicant from this command.

Ugh....I was doing so well not obsessing until this morning. My husband was the only alternate for the SPEC OP option last year, but he didn't get picked up. It stinks to have to fill out the paperwork, apply for schools and do the med stuff and still not get selected.

We are so so anxious to make it this year! It's nice to see how excited others are, too.

This wait wouldn't be nearly as painful if it weren't for the fact that I'm up for orders. Y'all think its difficult to not know whether you're staying or going, try not knowing if you're going or going or when. It would have been nice if I could have gotten orders when my class graduated and just not executed them, but no, that would be efficient, convenient, and easy.
