Port visit in Brazil

Lonestar155

is good to go
Anyone here ever been on a port call to Rio, Brazil? I saw in the Navy newstand photo gallery that GW pulled into port. Is it everything that I would have ever imagined as far as the "scenery", (girls if you will) is concerned?

Don't get your hopes up, I have a friend on another ship with that deployment and the girls are lacking, there are lots of guys, and the locals don't want to talk to the Americans. Plus, when a carrier pulls in, your chances go to about 1 in 5000.

I have a SWO friend who is a navigator that did a port call in Rio a few months back. Don't remember which ship he's on.

Then there's me who got sent there for a month on the air force's dime a few years back for a cultural immersion program. The girls are NOT lacking in Rio and they don't hate Americans.

Eh, I've used the World Factbook for a lot of papers so I knew the statistic was there, and I'm delaying working on a term paper so I've got free time.

fair enough, procrastinate away!

but remember its like masturbation, its fun while youre doing it, but in the end youre just f#cking yourself.

To answer your question: Yes, around the horn in 1990 on the USS Lincoln. Lots of great things to see there and the food there is good as well! The stage shows there are a bit different than the US live shows.
