Speaking of A-10s... Anyone see the division (I guess they call it a 4ship) of 'Hawgs land at NASP around noon on Wednesday? I wonder what they were in town for...

Kind of a side note about A-10s. I've had the opportunity to see this (CLICK HERE), and for anyone who's heard the sound of the 30mm, you know it's something worth seeing. It's been in Salina, KS a couple of times, looks like it's in Boise, ID this year. Check it out if you get the chance.

Would love to see that F-4 @ an airshow sometime.......so cool that there is one still flying (aside from QF-4's). I remember being really impressed as a little kid watching some RF-4's at the Hillsboro airshow back in the day. They don't make fighters like they used to :)

For some reason - I could be wrong - but I think all of the heritage F-4s are actually QF-4s with people flying them.

Yeah on closer inspection, the F-4 in this pic is not the CAF one (civilian owned F-4C) that has been making the airshow rounds. Theirs has slightly different markings

I was on the Kitty and attached to VAQ-136 when this was taken. I have better pictures of our bird landing. Just not on this computer. LOL
