More than that, we do them at 360 kts ... and the gray jets go lower and faster. It's a good time ... assuming you don't hit a bird, or Cessna for that matter.

My bad on leaving everyone hanging. Apparently the student was holding the brakes waiting for the shuttle to come back when he thought he saw someone giving him the take tension signal (you can see him wipe out the controls). He releases brakes and the rest is on the video (also noted you shouldn't be on the brakes when taking tension). I don't think the holdback was ever in place. Big time miscommunication.

I haven't watched the second video that was posted but the regs are 500'. No MAC (Min Altitude Capable) runs in the training command. We'll be out in El Sweato during the last 2 weeks in April for the Weps Det. If anyone is around or wants a tour, look me up. I'm not hard to find. Just ask for Frumby. Semper Fly!!!

Copy all. I just find it amusing/frustrating that it's 500' less than what "shall" be done in something that goes half as fast. But I'll let it go.
