BAH for newly commissioned officers

Mabye things have changed since I graduated... I got my butt kicked outta Mother B as soon as I graduated and was TAD at USNA for 2 months. Got full BAH, but had to provide my lease agreement...

This is obviously not in San Diego 'cause you can't even rent a cardboard box there for a grand per month. Well, you might get 4 sides of a box, but you'll be missing your front and back door.

or go broke with you severly discounted BAH.. i dont care... where I am right now its icy and about 12 degrees with wind chills in the negatives.. my stash job involves me sitting at a computer trying to figure out how to surf the internet 8 hours a day and not end up on porn every 5 minutes...the only saving grace is the cheap booze and loose women at night, but so I have found in my travels... they are almost everywhere... its just the percentage of them that changes...call me crazy but I would like to get this show moving a little.. im tired..thank you

Why would they be trying to cut down on it? Even after getting full BAH, I still had to pony up $200 out of pocket for rent. What they're trying to cut down on is someone who is on basket leave (not TAD) living with their parents and drawing BAH. i.e. - pocketing the money.

Dude you are such a fool. Beign stashed in champaign is amazing. Why do you think phil went back there TAD for a month after he got here. In case you havent figured it out if you have cheap booze and loose women there is nothing else you need to search for in life, it is only when the cheap booze runs dry and the loose women become obscenely ugly when a man aquires motivation to do other things. And seeing as how every august a new crop of soon to be loose women arrive on campus and college students will always be poor (hence cheap booze) there is never a reason to want to leave that glorious place you reside in.
