Not often that I'd post something my mother forwarded to me (you all have that relative who forwards stupid stuff), but this one was pretty funny. I have no idea if it's valid, but it is nevertheless, funny.

FRENCH SNIPER SCHOOL - ORIGIN OF THE TERM "CRACK SHOT"

As one astute observer noted, "you gotta love the Frenchies; only they could come up with a field expedient bench rest that looks like a still shot from "Broke Back Mountain"

Note: This is a valid psychological two-part procedure....first you "moon" your enemy, making him furious and when he stands up to give you the finger you have a MUCH larger target so that even a French sniper can't miss!

Rumor has it the the French snipers' rec. facility has designer drapes colored to match their rifles.

They're not French, but are actually British. I have no idea why they're doing that though. Seems like an unstable place to rest that rifle.

GOOD CALL, "All" ..... "rep" points for you since you take so much sh!t here. Most of it undeserved. It's just because you're a young skull full of cottage cheese.

It's good. Very different in college than it was in high school. I'm currently missimg out on the pre-season camp because of all the stuff I have to take care of out here in Cali before the school year. But I'll be back in school and in the swing of things in a few days. Yay, Cadre Week.:nonono_12

Woohoo, I've been upgraded to "young skull full of cottage cheese" status. :D
 
We should direct this to the attention of our British chap over in the other thread. Of course, being an aviator, he'll probably blame it on the Army.

Yeah, tell me about it. I was a "STUD" in H/S football ... but a midget and a weakling in college --@ 6', too.

Fortunately .... I discovered CREW ... the best, all-around sport a young man (or an old one) can participate in .... :)

Well, unfortunately, we don't have a lot of flat water out in Appalachia. But we do have boxing. In fact, I'm taking it this semester for PE, should be fun. :D

COLLEGE:

If you can't row ... BOX. If you can ... DO BOTH. GREAT sports. You'll be a better man for having participated in each/either .... good luck.
