Concur, all HS Studs go through HS-10 in San Diego. If you get selected for Jax, you'll know ahead of time that that is where you'll end up once your time in SD is complete. Of course, if all goes according to plan, there won't be many HS folks in Jax in a few years, as they'll all moving up to Norfolk. And at some other point they'll all become HSC or HSM squadrons. Behold the new flesh!
HSL is the only helo RAG in Jax, and we're up at Mayport. Like Pags and bch said, the HS RAG is in San Diego. You select HS Jax in HTs but go to San Dog for the RAG then move here when done.

Still thinking about it but I'm most definitely leaning towards HS

FWIW, if you want to eventually end up in Romeo, HSL would be a better start. If you want to end up Sierras, HS or HSC,
Do you know what the breakdown is now? I had heard that HS would be split about 50/50 between HSM and HSC.

That is what I have heard as well. The Hotel side is going to HSC, we are absorbing the F Mission. HSC can keep plane guard, that SUCKS.

I NEVER did it on my last cruise. We only did it for the Red Lions when they were TU.
