You should move this to the ASTB section to get more answers. I had a 7/7/6 55 and was worried that my scores were to low. But you never know until you try. Good luck!

DLI GPA: 3.2
Section Leader for 6 AF/USN students
PRT: Excellent Medium, Excellent High
Only ribbons are National Defense and Pistol Marksmanship (Expert)
75 volunteer hours
No evals yet: I'll receive the first when I graduate DLI.
LOR: AOIC (0-3), pastor, waiting on OIC's LOR.

BA in Political Science (2004), 2.0. 1 year of law school before enlisting, around 2.0.
Played college football/baseball. List of extracurriculars and leadership positions as long as my arm.
ASTB: 5/6/6 42

Guys, I'm trying for NFO/SWO/Intel. They're all long shots with my old GPA's and ASTB, but with my age (27) I'd like to submit as soon as possible for NFO. Will a decent GPA from DLI overshadow anything, coupled with solid service at my command thus far?
I took the first ASTB while in law school, and I'm hesitant to try again during my DLI studies--Russian can work you over...I'd hate to get a WORSE score now...What do you think? I know 0% chance without applying, but the app has to go all the way up to the CO, and I would hate to waste her time. Thank you.

Been lurking for awhile and took the ASTB for the first time today.

Stats:
22/f/civilian - no prior
BA - Mass Communications
Minor - Latin American Studies
GPA: 3.1
ASTB: 4/4/4 OAR 44 (Yes, I'm a Bachelor of Arts major...my OR said I did above average, but I think he was just being nice). ;)
LOR -all excellent- 1 retired Sgt. Major (Army), 3 previous employers, 1 Univ. professor, 1 volunteer org. chair.
Extras - I've been involved throughout HS and college in soccer, volunteer orgs, managing editor of a newspaper, and honor societies. Done alot of travel abroad to play soccer. Read/speak intermediate Spanish.
No flight time.
PFT - I think I'll do fine.
Waiting approval of MEDDOCS so I can take my physical @ MEPS.

Debating applying for SWO for the Sept boards or retaking the ASTB.

Any advice? Sounds like alot of you guys have awesome scores (SNA/NFO) bravo zulu to you guys...but applying for SWO do you think I have a chance? My OR said yes, but any additional advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
