29JUNE2026 IWC Board

Crazy, because according to the publicly-listed FY27 Board Schedule, EOD was set to convene 2 weeks ago. Meanwhile, IWC was scheduled over two months ago. Obviously, the communities are very different sizes, but man what's going on with INTEL?? Is there any way for someone with Sharepoint access to see if the INTEL board even convened?
EOD is a different animal, by the time the board convenes they already have a good idea who will be picked due to the selection process prior to board.

It is also a very tight community so if a person is enlisted or if they are family of a person in EOD that can really help. I had an applicant who was the son of a SEAL who went EOD LDO, I received a few calls from MCPO's, and a few CDR's saying if anything was needed to let them know.

Out of curiosity, do officer candidates selected to earn a commission in the SpecWar communities go through in separate divisions from other designators? (similar to boot camp)

Makes complete sense, but has the INTEL board really been deliberating for this long? I was under the impression that the selection process isn't itself very long once the board convenes (and has likely already completed), so really we're just waiting for them to release results for some reason. I understand what you're saying, that the EOD board mostly knew its determinations before the convention, but how are communities like EOD able to release results so much faster once they've made their decisions?

When boards release results do they release results + OCS date at the same time? If that's the case then it's probably taking forever to get results back because they are trying to figure out where to slot this batch of IWC designators. Same case happened for supply results took forever and there's no OCS dates until the next fiscal year for them.

^If that's not how they process things then I have no clue why theyre taking forever

I thought Supply only took like a month to get results after their board. They got late OCS dates, but isn't that because of overcrowding at Supply School (which is a different issue)?

I can confirm there are some serious supply school backups. I graduated in Dec 25’ and I believe there are a people from my class who just started supply school. If not, have been there for a very short time. It would make sense for the delay/late OCS class dates.
