I already sent my letter declining NFO. This was a call I received today and that she was also being moved from that office.
NFO and number 2 which I’m realizing I should not have done in hindsight.

I already talked to a marine recruiter awhile back. I don’t want to fly rotary. I’m just going to retake the ASTB and get 8s and 9sthe marines are calling

they have fixed wing and jets, also the navy has a huge rotary program too
They do have fixed wing but it’s very uncommon to get that opportunity

The odds of getting rotary in navy or marines are prob around the same tbh… iirc 35% of navy aircraft are… in fact, rotary. Compare to 50% for the marines but that difference is prob evened out by the fact that most of the fixed wing only people already went navy or airforce lmao so you technically have less competition

And it’s always the luck of the draw anyways… could always get rotary drafted the week you graduate even if you got top scores.
