My recruiter just informed me that the OCM isn’t even looking at ISEL packages until potentially the June regular board. I submitted my package in February, and that means I may not hear back about my ISEL package for another 12 weeks.

I suppose I don’t understand the ISEL process like I thought.

If they don't have spots to give they can't process ISEL, that could be the issue.

I'm seeing a lot of older information on this so I thought I'd ask here since it seems the process has changed somewhat:

1) I was pro-rec y'd for SWO in Feb. My recruiter is just now sending me the 72-hour COP form. Is this going to impact my eligibility?

2) For the monthly COP forms, if I answer yes to any of them, how does that impact my eligibility?

3) Many of the COP form questions lack any time frame - for example, it asks "Have you or any immediate family members traveled outside of the United States?" I have traveled outside the US but the last time I traveled outside the US was in 2018. Other questions on this form specific "while in COP" / "since you joined the Commissioning On boarding Program."

4) Since I'll be filling these out monthly from now until August (?) when I'm scheduled to ship to OCS, do I keep my answers the same if they're a yes? For example, if I answer on my 72-hour COP form "Yes" to the question asking "Have you spoken to a police officer for any reason while in COP?" do I have to answer yes to that question on every subsequent monthly COP form because I put yes on the first one or are these forms supposed to be answered based on event between my most recent last submission?

5) How will my "yes" / bad answers on my COP form impact my eligibility or likelihood to receive my FINSEL - for example, if I plan on telling my employer of my ship date?

6) I do not currently meet the PFA standards. I also don't meet the weight standards (but meet waist width standards). Will these impact my ship date and/or my FINSEL?

7) A lot of the FINSEL information I've seen is from 10+ years ago. When should I expect my FINSEL and how often does a FINSEL letter change your OCS ship date?

Any other information/advice about the FINSEL / COP process is appreciated! I've got some work to do physically (I'd like to lose about 20-30 more lbs before shipping and get my PRT to Good - High to Excellent - Low) but I'm not super concerned about that considering I ship in August and have been consistently maintaining a workout regime for the past 2 months.

Thanks!
