USN Saw the Hainan Island EP-3

Went to the Pima Air and Space Museum last weekend. One of the aircraft on display is the exact same EP-3 involved in the Hainan Island Collision.

IIRC, it was a CalFire (or similar) fire tanker.

If you haven't, by all means do the Pima/AMARG experience. If you have a mil CAC/ID all the better. Also if you are a former mil crew member, and it's a slow day, Pima Museum staff will be open to cockpit requests.

IIRC Marine Reserves flew 119's into the 70's with VMR 234. Now VMGR 234 in Ft. Worth.
I crewed with a couple of salty Master Gunnys who crewed them back to Korea times.
