How many cords are allowed to be showing on those tires? If you were in Key West or Nashville, you'd totally down that airplane for a tire change... 🤣

And do you get any aerodynamic benefit from the wingtip pylons ala the legendary Hornet?

That’s a good question for engineering. Unlike the Hornet, this airplane was designed and cleared without wingtip rails. The trainer handles a little more crisply and rolls ever so slightly faster than the FA- though they both have excellent roll perf. So I’d say it’s not a significant difference.

As for the tires, they were pretty far into the demo tour, showing off the durability. ;)
 
What are the black balls on the intakes and tail? Blanker plates for fish eyes? Since it's the FA model, I'm assuming it would have some sort of MWS on the production model.
