Request for Advice / Intel on this new direction

Hello,

Background : Heading toward putting in an application for IWC community. Requesting some quick insight on which branch of the community I will be the most useful.


My history:
Education : BS Comp. Sci (3.2 gpa) -- Calculus, chem, etc. all STEM classes taken.
Prior service history : 5 years enlisted NAVET - Submarines (SS) -- 2 Westpacs and decomissioned the ship
Current Federal employee : Year and a half -- Working as a Exec. Technical Assistant for our CIO


I want to serve again in the Reserves as an officer (DCO hopefully) and be involved in the Hardware/ Software side of SPECWAR if attainable.

Any advice and job insight and any opinions on my success rate of being picked up would be ideal.

I think the chances of you doing Intel as a reservist and being involved in SPECWAR are between slim and none. Yes, some Intel JO billets exist for the NSW reserve units, but they are very few and far between.
