I'm 30, so not as old as @flatspinturkeyb or @OldArmyChris but with the way OCS dates are going I'll probably start flight school at 35 hahaha

I’m 33, and my 20 year old brother is trying for aviation through NROTC… if I get it, I’ll be 13 years older than him, and only a year or two ahead in the officer track ?

My sister is 31 and she keeps asking me "aren't you too old to join the Navy?". I'm a little above the average age (28), but if only she knew who is in this thread.

I’m 23 and my brother just retired from the AF after 20.5 years. He’s 39

That is a little above average but who really cares. You’ll get out either at 38 and go fly elsewhere, or at 48 with retirement. Who cares if you’re enjoying it!
