Hopefully a great sign for those of you destined for The Show that the regionals are spooling back up!

Yeah, it would be an understatement to say that we were surprised when the company told us this yesterday. They must no something that we don't.

Also, on Thursday the company sent out an upgrade bid for 135 pilots. We were expecting some, but not that many. I should be in that group. I will have to commute to Philly, but it will be good to build PIC hours again.

Flying today on packed regional flights CVG-CLT-MGM on way for a week of TDY at Maxwell AFB. CLT airport was packed (indicated by the 30 min line at Shake-Shack).

Clearly things are looking up - hope this is a good omen for you all!!! ??

Thank you @mad dog for the airport drop off! ?

Please make sure while at Maxwell that you drive by the OTS weirdos with your windows down and heckle them. Their heads may explode. I've probably seen weirder things, but top five was seeing an OTS candidate (or whatever they're called) squaring/marching down the road by him/herself, while carrying a Domino's pizza box (at the perpendicular, of course).

So what is still burning? Is it composite that's still stuck in there cooking off?

I didn't know the P&W-equipped 777's had afterburner! Cool!!

It just got removed in the last few minutes, but there was a great Craiglist post in Denver selling the engine cowling for $9,999.

As it turns out, I was in "the other 777A" that was airborne and heading to HNL. I had a few text messages when I landed.
