Bullets don't fly without Supply
Retired Navy SEAL confessing to breaching the capitol...

I don't know if he is actually retired, or just former.

In that video he doesn't say anything about how he personally breached the capitol building. Click bait

Yeah...print is the equivalent of a bunch of guys yelling on a street corner.

The Twitterverse (among others) is giving those guys a fleet of blimps with ginormous amplifiers yelling down at everybody.

Or only yelling down at those who are on the platform and who follow that particular person. I couldn't careless what is being said on Twitter or Facespace, I don't use them and never will. Call me an old fashioned-millennial.

So many people believe this crap, it's more like propaganda at this point. Impeached? Twice?!

You can include these folks, among many others, to include these folks who were directly threatened by the mob last week:

"The president bears responsibility for Wednesday's attack on Congress by mob rioters" - Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

The American people have been lied to, chiefly by Donald Trump, and lies have consequences. And those consequences are now found in five dead Americans and a Capital building that’s in shambles." “The president has disregarded his oath of office. He swore an oath to the American people to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. He acted against that. What he did was wicked.” - Senator Ben Sasse

Orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable. The President’s conduct yesterday was a betrayal of his office and supporters.” - Former Attorney General Bill Barr

What aspect of this picture do you find misleading?
It's not wrong at face value if you know the House has the sole power to impeach, but to the lay-person it does imply a message that the process is over and done with. I think the general public would look at the news title and probably think that's where it stops. It still must be tried in the senate by a 2/3 majority vote. To walk around saying the President has been impeached twice regardless of Senate vote is a little deceptive IMO.

I think it's meaningless without the 2/3 Senate vote to affirm it and I think it's wrong because it doesn't even attempt to tell the whole story/process.

Yeah he was called a "White Supremacist in Chief" today as well... Pretty mind blowing to think someone would believe that.

I get what you’re saying, but there’s nothing incorrect about it. The president was in fact impeached. He wasn’t convicted by the Senate as you noted, but it’s not deceptive for the media to state what actually took place. If the public is confused, then it’s on them to Google the process.

The House of Representatives impeached the President today, period. While Many Americans could probably use a civics lesson a good many probably remember the trial in the Senate last year and know this is only the beginning of the process.

The Senate doesn't affirm it, the President is put on trial there and is either convicted or acquitted. Simple as that.

On another note, a sad commentary on the current state of affairs that 20,000 National Guard troops will be used to guard the Inauguration next week in addition to all the other security.

You're right, my word choice was poor in my attempt at brevity.

I would have loved to sleep in a building like that when I was supporting the Army lol.

Nah... think of the acoustics. You get a couple guys who snore and it just echoes all around the place, or that one guy who goes digging through his stuff in the dark while carelessly shining his flashlight all around the place when it's still half an hour before time to get up. Nowadays you're not even allowed to threaten guys like that with a blanket party so there's no way to fix them.

Lol, you have a point but I'd take the acoustics and a clean floor over Aloha snackbar for 24 hours straight from at least 5 mosques around you. So technically the acoustics are much better in the building pictured.

In the President's case I am not so sure, as Twitter was his one of his primary methods of communicating and now that avenue is closed to him. Will many of his most devoted followers follow him to whatever platform he chooses to park? Sure, but his 'bullhorn' will be much diminished and so will likely whatever power he yields when he leaves office next week.

He's still got Twitter with his gov account.

He can even sound quite Presidential on it like he did just today:
