I did my security clearance interview nearly 2 months ago... even before the board met. I still don’t understand why considering I won’t be an officer for ~2 years and I wasn’t even accepted at the time.

Greetings from the 2NOV2020 SNA/NFO selection board!

We just got our results back and I'm starting to reach out to all of those who have the same OCS date as me because I've created a shared Google Drive for us to use for studying and I've created a GroupMe to communicate with everyone who has the same OCS date.

Whenever you guys get your OCS dates, if you have an OCS date of 26 SEP 2021, reach out to me and I will include you in the Google Drive and GroupMe.

Hmm so has anyone heard anything about official results/FINSEL yet? Seeing that the SNA/NFO applicants have received dates has me thinking that maybe our results could be finalized too? I imagine there was a delay because of Thanksgiving/Covid.

I’m wondering the same thing, texted my recruiter and asked about a ship date, no response yet.

Nothing on my end either. But everything I heard about CEC says that they are a tight knit community that looks after their own. I'm sure our recruiters will get us the info as it is released. Just like with the selection results we have to relax and trust that the system will take care of us (but prod it once in a while too).

Just talked to my recruiter, official results still aren’t out and he thinks I’ll swear in after the new year.

I did not get any notification about my background check or security clearance. I did my security clearance interview on October 15th - not sure if that is relevant.

My FINSEL is dated December 22nd for anyone wondering, maybe that means everyone's is also dated then? Idk.

I would also add that I live in a relatively low population area with very little Navy presence so I think maybe that's why I am hearing back first? I think its the same reason I had my security clearance interview so early.

Congrats!!! Was there a ship date to OCS on it for years from now? (I’m direct ascension so a ship date is what I’m waiting on most).

I wonder about if all of our FINSELs went out the 22nd or will all go out around the same time regardless of background check status. I know being old I have lived about 1000 places they have to verify.
