Summer weight vs Winter weight NOMEX

Have both, summer weight however is easier to patch up due to the lining in the winter weight.

BZB, AKs merged with SKs, then they all became LSs (Logistics Specialists).

Winter Weight is the shizzle.

All of which suck.

/CSB from my boat tour

It isn't YOUR money; if you don't want to buy flight deck boots for my guys I can't make you, but I can make your department man every working party until you do...

And if you don't like that then maybe you could find one jerkass from the supply dept that the CO will deem competent enough to stand CDO so the Air Dept guys don't have to stand Port and Starboard..?

/End CSB.

You could convince your sk's to buy you a Massif fleece, warm and breathes better than the nomex.

Seems like I mostly see helo guys wearing either of those... mostly.

They were popular with the NFOs in my squadron, but I think I was the only pilot with them, since I had them from my helo days.

SKs were the ones that told you there wasn't any money in the budget for extra tools. Days later they could be seen unloading their new flat screen into their work space.

AK's could be just as bad. Went to see an AK2 about getting new boots while on the boat. He told me that since I was a yeoman and not an airman anymore that I had to buy my own boondockers....

In their defense, those usually come out of different pots of money. Case in point, my old squadron was given money from the wing earmarked specifically for flatscreens. When we asked if we could forgo the tv and buy stuff we actually wanted, no dice.

Got one of those, the tags are still on it, haven't had a chance to wear it yet. Though I wonder, mine is tan, is it even legal in the states now?
