Newly released video production by Boeing on the tandem rotor helicopter and all its greatness. I met Mr. Piasecki many times - and his son Fred is a good friend and fellow Boston University classmate. In 1990, I flew a Phrog from Chambers/NorVa to Philidelphia - and landed in the parking lot of Piasecki Aircraft in Essington, PA - a stone's throw from Boeing and the Philly airport. Swore the crew to secrecy! We had lunch with "Mr. Pi" and received a tour of their future design involving a ducted fan UH-60.

Speaking of tandem rotor helos, the National United States Armed Forces Museum took delivery of their 4th H-46 from the boneyards after purchase through GSA and flying under Restricted airworthiness certificate as N4810F (BuNo 154810 manufactured in 1968). They even operated the aircraft at night to ferry it to Houston.

I recall the winter headwinds were a real sucker punch to gas and groundspeed. Have you had any rough days?
140 KTAS and 7 hours of gas! Thankfully the airplane has an XM Sat radio subscription.
Pushed all the F35s out waiting for software updates 🙄
