Well, ready to take the plunge on a new gun. I've got a GP100 that I carry when I'm wearing a jacket or flannel. But, it's big and a bit heavy and I'm considering relegating it to HD only. I was really looking hard at the Glock 26, but I can't find one locally. I did find a 27 at a shop, but after holding it I'm not sure the Glock is the right way to go. It felt like I was holding a thick axe handle, but too short for my pinky to be included in my grip. I think if the grip was a little smaller, I'd be ok with only 4 of my fingers holding the gun. As is, I can't imagine that thing kicking around in my hand when fired. Is the 26 grip smaller? The other issue I ran into is that I can't find a dealer in Ms that deals with the Blue Label guns and I absolutely refuse to spend $550 on another handgun.
I've also considered the Walther PK380, but I feel like id be settling a little bit with that one.
I'm trying to keep it under $500 and would consider used. What are the recommendations from the crowd for a good carry gun(think small enough to carry in shorts)?
