Was it just the super wide angle lens or have those B-57s been re-engined with some big fans?

Bigger than the original J57's (which were on the original U-2), but the TF-33's have been on the-57's since the 1960's.

When the RB-57F's were made they were given extra long/big wings and TF33's to fly at higher altitudes than 'regular' B-57's.

They are unique birds and unlike the others in the Canberra/B-57 family. I believe they were meant to be a bit of a compromise compared to the U-2 with a bigger payload but lower operating altitude while being a little easier to operate, Huggy might know a little more. It is part of the reason they are still being utilized heavily even today, so much so they pulled a third out of the boneyard after ~40 years there just a few years ago.
