Thanks for the question, but let me see if I recall the scaling correctly.
When I entered, I was fine and sweet, no decrement greater than a 10 on anything.
As I was around planes more with the crappy hearing protection we had then, it has improved greatly since, right ear has gone as high as 55. However, the tech tells me that it is a sliding scale (makes no sense to me) and the big problem for me was a 15 loss one year, on whatever the scale is that they use.
It was the magnitude of change that alerted the tech. I think I once tested a 60, but since I was already winged, they were not gonna toss me unless I retested better, which I subesquently did. (With foamies before test) that on that test got me back to a 40 or 45.
Not sure what you are facing.
