does having a bachelors in Aviation Science, w/ commercial pilot liscence give a person a better chance at OCS and have a Gold Wing quicker than usual?

...well, sort of, a little bit with the comm license and time-to-wings. If you have just a ridiculous grunch o' private time, and high-level tickets (multi-engine, CFI, CFII, etc) you might get through Primary a little faster. In general, though, no. There's no particular advantage in having private time. We train you up. and a technical degree doesn't buy you anything in Naval Air. Use the Search button.

Technical degree, HUGE prior flight experience = better chance at getting TO OCS (caveat being equal performance in a non-tech/liberal arts degree, all things being equal), but getting your wings faster? Doubtful.
