Com'on guys...Everyone knows the T-35 is just a Turboweiner with the F-35 avionics installed. They'll start selecting guys to the F-35 before primary in FY11, and they'll fly the T-35.

Is that black tube under the seat in the T-35 still a back up boom mic like it was in the T-34?

It's the emergency ICS; someone should check-out all the Mids on proper use. :icon_smil

(Always remember to lick it for a better seal!) :icon_smil

Actual T-35C On-Star call:

"This is On-Star, how may I help you?"
"I have a simulated ____ and I can't remember my procedures!"

Or maybe On-Star could've helped in the famous "turn your heat off" clip :)

More likely:

"Naval Safety Center, how may I help you?"
"Yes, this is Tonya from On Star. We have an automated Class A notification with parachute deployment. GPS coordinates are..."

Pretty much, but you have to really speak into it.. It helps to get a good seal around the lips. Back up O2 as well, so be sure to take a deeeep breath.

Beech 1900 pilot's; "Fly it like you stole it"
Had some mids doing their youngster cruise on an FF that I was embarked aboard as part of an LAMPS Mk. I detachment. We had a 1MC announcement for the 3 of them to lay aft to the fantail for viewing of a "seabat" HILARIOUS!

Our poor mids...we drove them out to a VERY remote and dusty LZ in East County so our HARP players out of El Centro could have real people to pick up in their immediate CSAR scenario. Train like you fight!!!

Oh, I remember doing this like it was yesterday. Nothing like having a big weekend south of the border, then waking up at 0700 on Monday with a Corona hangover to go fight a fire.

Man, that's still the fastest I've ever sobered up in my life.
