Iran has their goals, we have ours. All of this latest business is going to hurt both of us but I think they're going to come out of this exchange the worse.
I think most Iranians are more interested in going about their daily lives than they are in spreading the revolution. I think their government is kinda mixed on that but they've sorta painted themselves into a corner over the last forty years and they're kinda stuck on 'death to America' like a broken record.
I think a lot of people in our country don't grasp what a bad guy and how brilliant Soleimani was or what he was capable of.
And here we are tonight.
I'd love to hear what you think, whether or not it's something I agree with.
edit: Iran will get more credibility, among their circle of friends, for standing up to the world's policeman/Great Satan/bully/take your pick. Maybe that's all they want (it is something they do always want; every country wants credibility with their friends).
