There are people who show up to OCS and not even make it past week 1 so don't worry about crossin that bridge until you get there and they brief the regiment. Get used to doing stuff last minute in the Navy you won't always get the word when you want. I didnt get my orders to API until 2 days before graduation and I had personal property moves and stuff to set up.

I didnt get my orders until 5 days after I commissioned, 2 days before would have been amazing
