Random response just because I've reread this thread:
*Mission creep. The question is whether those missions are in the ROC/POE.
*Night cargo: we'll experiment with that. Still no PAX to/from the ship at night (3710).
*Time on deck should be as Pags said it. It's even better since in that scenario you're not shutting down the aircraft.
*hscs's concern really isn't different than with the C-2s. The more the ship uses them, the faster they go maintenance down. The ability to surge to a high demand does not mean airframes/crews must sustain it.

The V-22 is not a C-2, as we all know. A lot of the assumptions come from directly comparing either a current C-2 detachment or the current MV-22B airframe. What may be true of either of those may not be true for a CMV-22B and its det.

Did I miss anything?

Doesn't the V-22 have less range and less payload? Confused why this is a good option for Navy logistic support? Just wondering..any current COD guys wanna add their input?

it's been widely reported that Pax River is developing take off and landing profiles with nacelles slightly forward and using running landings and takeoffs to expand gross weight
