Hey man,
Sorry to hear that you didn't get selected. There are a lot of guys in the facebook group who were selected that had lower scores than you. Do you think something else might have played a factor such as a low gpa, tattoos, etc, etc...?
Tattoos? If I had to guess ide say it was the 5 in pfar. Mist guys who have been picked up so far have at least a 6.

Oh yea I think the 5 is most definitely a huge factor. I was just wondering if something else might have also possibly contributed. I saw a guy in the facebook group get picked up for NFO with a 5 FOFAR.

The only thing I can really think of is my prt scores. My last 2 cycles in the prims report in the kit were excellent and sat. I've since completed my fall prt cycle with a good so now my last 2 ar a good and excellent.

Dang! Yes for both with those scores sure makes a lot of people here grin ;) Hope to see you in flight school.
Edit: not meant as a put down at all btw. Some of us had lower scores on the astb and have been worried about them.

55 6 5 6. I'm AD and had amazing interview appraisals recommendations and 600 hours of community service just this year. Don't really know what happened

I would agree with RUFIO, your ASTB scores need to come up and what was your degree and GPA, as far as community service, eh not a factor when looking at aviation.

Im on the Oct 29 board. I think I have a good chance. 3.0 GPA, Marine Sergeant Harrier Jet mechanic, Private, Instrument, Commercial, Multi engine rated pilot 200 hours or so. Letter of recommendation from a Commander, captain (Marines), and a Major who said (in my 16 plus years as a Marine officer he is one of the finest Sergeants I have ever served with) Not trying to brag but I would love a little encouragment. This is my dream! (like pretty much all of you)
