I disagree owen. We did not just leave him there. They have been searching for him since the beginning. JPRA can only work from what they find, and what they have found has been small and scattered and they are doing the best they can to find him and determine what has happened. no one has given up, on him or ANYONE who is POW/MIA. I have not read Yarsinke's book, but as you stated yourself, what she said is unconfimed. I work at SERE and have read the briefs and updates on Speicher as well as several other POW/MIA's both recovered since the updates and not, and there is alot being done for all of them. There is no need to contact senators and congressmen. The government is in constant contact with the family, they are well aware of the situation. I admire your drive, but you have little true knowlege of what you are rallying for. I can appreciate your want to help the family find answers, but dont assume no one else is trying. Everyday they are searching, for something, anything that will lead to him.
