Was out there wrapping our own CQ and got to hang around an extra day to watch the show. CNATRA paddles have brass balls. End of story. I'll take my WestPac, pitching deck night recoveries - you can have the studs. Nice work Paddles.

I see a green shirt climbing around a jet in one pic. Who maintains the jets while on a boat det? Do the contractors come out to the boat? Seems like that would be the only way to get guys qualified on the airframe to work on them.

Correct, contract plane captains and mx come out to the boat and then we use regular deck crews for the other stuff (handlers, purple shirts, etc)

Well, you came to the thread so I achieved my purpose (in service of the web-san).

I think I just threw up a little in my mouth. We don't really want to know what sort of erotic pimping you do for Webmaster.

I always had to warn the new HS pilots to be wary of orange and white jets waving off through the Plane Guard pattern. The new guys always thought I was joking until...!!!
