XC advice when using AirNav.com

Just a heads up to save you some money because I failed to read the fine print. AirNav.com is a great site with links to many services for hotels and rental cars when your going to a place you've never been. However, if you link to a hotel, and make a reservation, there is an embedded charge of up to 50 bucks titled "Recovery charges and service fees"...I.E., you see $79 dollars a night, book it, and end paying the premium in the end. Just take another few minutes to either go directly to the hotel/car website or call. With that 50 bones I could have enjoyed the 24 hour adult package (featuring the best of Jenna Jameson) with the video services on demand.

Never heard of that, when did this happen? Training mags were common and widespread when I was there (that is how we had to look at our porn in the old corps......). I have no idea how they could crackdown on that or the internets effectively. Sounds like howporn is banned in Bahrain........yeah, right.......Talk about tilting at windmills......

They try, but when I left there was more porn floating around on the Battalion LANs than you could shake a stick at (no pun intended.)

Only ever heard of one or two guys getting pulled for it, and they were being a bit excessive.

The TACs like to look for illicit publications, though. I'm pretty sure that they are only trying to secure more material for their own private stashes, though.
