Why did I (or anyone else, for that matter) ever think Mr. T was cool?

The future of the Supply Corps
As a long-time childhood A-Team fan, I am comfortable admitting that I, at one time, thought Mr. T was cool.

Then, as I got older, I realized he wasn't. Had I seen THIS video, I would have known from a much younger age that the man has no clue what is going on at any time, anywhere, in the world around him.

Disclaimer: If you are a Mr. T fan, you will probably not be after watching this. :D

I really don't know whether to laugh at how absurd it is, or to feel embarassed for the poor dope.

Actually, that only proves further how badass Mr.T is. He can do a video like this, in the clothes he's wearing, and he'll still kick your ass.

He loves his momma. A + :icon_smil

Evidently. It's sort of like a "barely-literate, badly-written precursor" to "Dear Mama," by 2Pac. Except not cool.

And you knew this one was coming:

"I pity the fool."

I wasn't a member of the Mr. T Generation if you will, so I never really was a fan. But now, I think I am. And yeah, those are some pretty bad ass shorts.

What do you have against mothers? Mr. T respects the one who gave him birth. You gotta give the man props for that. The song was catchy too. ;)

I pitty the fool who doesn't like T! For those of us who had the misfortune to grow up in the early 80s, that was just the way things were back in the day. All that goofy sh!t was in style. T is a great American and I love him more now than ever before. As a tribute to T, I respectfully submit the following link to this internet relic:

If you listen to the beat/music, it almost sounds like this other old 80's song, "Somebody's Watching Me," by Rockwell. I wonder if they ever had a legal battle over this?

My mother is dead.

(Well, not really - but I feel for the poor kid whose mother WAS dead when this song came out...talk about making a kid feel like dirt!)

Mr T is a dancin' fool ... that's all there is to it. Check those moves out!

Bet he wrote that song himself too!
