Why can't I post? Why hasn't my account been approved?

I’ve been reading or hearing from those on social media accounts (ie reddit) that AWs has closed registration for those wanting to join the forum and that there’s not an admin POC, email, etc. for them to reach out and validate joining.

What’s the current deets for joining airwarriors?

Webmaster locked out new registrations in late August. The 'newest members' list seems to cutoff just before that. Maybe he forgot to turn it back on?

Thread '1077 spambots. Release the ban-hammer!'

I backed up the site. Updated software. Then banned all the spambots ~1077 that registered this morning. And then deleted (removed from view) the ungodly number of posts they made.

I turned off new registrations and locked down the ability to post until I finish clean up. You should be able to browse and post for registered users.

Off to dinner. Will enable registered users to post later tonight.

Yeah I figured it stemmed from the Spam Bot attack but didn’t know it would affect folks joining until recent.
