My boyfriend is currently in OCS. I want to go to church to see him this Sunday, but I have never been to NAS Pensacola and I have no idea where the chapel is. Can anybody give me some directions or pointers? Thanks!

Go in main gate, stay to the left at the fork. Keep going down that road... it will be on your right after you go past the big Captian's houses. Naval Aviation Chapel... real hard to miss, only building in the middle of the parade field. Good luck

Thanks!

Thank you so much! I appreciate your speedy response, especially because I found out I would be able to go yesterday and I'm leaving this saturday. I'm roadtripping there from Austin, so wish me luck!

Yeah, I've heard the drive is rather dull. People have said it takes anywhere from 9.5 to 11 hours. I'm leaving saturday morning, arriving late saturday night and staying in a hotel. Jake said that he usually gets to church around 8am, so I'm going to try to be there a little before then. He's lucky enough to have library after chow and so I'll get to spend a good portion of the day with him. I would have asked him all of the little questions, like directions, dress code, etc, but he doesn't even know I'm coming. He wanted me to come this weekend, but I didn't think I'd be able to. So, suddenly I am able to go, but it's not like I can just call him up and tell him that. I'll probably head back to Austin around 4:30 or so Sunday afternoon, so I'll be getting back really, really late. Then I have to be up and ready to go to work at regular time Monday morning. The things we do for love! :)
